I am Panthira tis Kyniga, Panther of the Hunt, or Panthera de Venatu, depending on if you speak Greek, English, or Latin. I prefer using either my English or Greek name. I am 14, but that doesn't mean that I cause trouble.

My parents raised me and my twin in a cottage in the woods, where we would hunt for our dinner and live away from modern society. They taught me to read, write, and speak Greek, English, and Latin; although I have some issues with reading and writing in English and Latin because of my dyslexia.

Growing up in such an isolated way, I'm not used to interacting with other people. Nor am I used to being in the city. If we meet, please be patient with me. I may seem strange, but I promise I'm nice.

Freedom Lost - Panthira and Daenerys

fighting-against-injustice:

Dany nodded. “I suppose I can acquiese to that. Who has it?” She locked her office door and smiled at Panther. “Would you be more comfortable if I spoke in Greek?” She asked, in Greek. She’d studied Greek and Latin at Harvard, so she was quite fluent in both tongues, and she wanted to make the girl as comfortable as possible. “And if you want meat, there’s a steakhouse not far from here that’s not too expensive.”

“I didn’t see. Probably  a security guard, or someone that has to sit and not do much. Either way, that bow is special to me.” Shocked that Daenerys spoke Greek, she asked, “Milate ellinika?” After the shock passed she replied in English,“I understand English just fine. My name is Greek, that doesn’t mean that that’s all I know.”  Then she shrugged. “I’m not picky on what you speak, so long as I can understand it.” She smiled at the mention of a steakhouse. “You mean, with meat from cows? I’ve never had that before, it should be a new experience.”

((milate ellinika? = you speak Greek?, and yes ellinika is lowercase on purpose))
